CLUB SWIZZLE Returns To Adelaide

Club Swizzle is back! From the creators of La Soirée and following its much talked about premiere Adelaide season in 2016, the mélange of outrageous cabaret, air-defying acrobatics and infectious musical revelry returns (with a twist), for a limited run. What better way to celebrate the silly season by getting your Swizzle on!

Loose, glorious and irresistibly fun, Club Swizzle is a brand-new night of sassy entertainment where the mayhem gets kicked up a notch. In the depths of the Festival Centre, there's a bar - the Club Swizzle bar - where legends are made, good times abound and the cheekiest souls in show business come together to create a night you'll never forget. This is Club Swizzle, and tonight, like every night, will be unlike any other.
Shaking things up behind (and on top of) the bar are The Swizzle Boys. Acrobatic and charismatic in equal measure, these sculpted rascals will pour your drink and steal your heart.

Hanging onto the reigns of chaos is Special Guest Host, cabaret wunderkind Reuben Kaye (Winner Best Cabaret Show, Adelaide Fringe 2017). Described as "the evil love child of Liza Minelli and Jim Carrey" (British Theatre Guide), Kaye is a rising star of the international cabaret scene with a stunning voice and a wicked wit. Pinwheeling across the bar in a delicious cocktail of energy, high camp and big notes, Kaye is a virtual explosion of sequins, lashes and teeth.

Providing the soundtrack for the night is a band with a repertoire as big as its bar tab. Mikey and The Nightcaps will slosh their way through the tunes till the last punter staggers out into the midnight sun.

Club Swizzle wouldn't be a club without some surprise appearances - expect aerial artistry, thigh-slapping tunes and unbridled hilarity among the twists and turns.

SA born and bred Creative Producer Brett Haylock says, "Club Swizzle's last Adelaide season was a real highlight for us and had a big impact on audiences. As a South Australian myself, I am delighted that the show will return to celebrate the upcoming silly season with an unforgettable night of uninhibited revelry! We're excited to add a few twists to the show before we embark on a European tour in 2018 and can't wait for Adelaide to join 'the Club' '.
