This superbly crafted cabaret show, My Breasts and Me, revolves around Bronwyn Palmer's journey from hating to loving her DDs. The show is both marvellously humorous and remarkably educational, well, at least for the majority of the men in the room. Palmer's ability to convincingly tell a complex and emotional story, while singing with such a warm tone, is admirable, and allows the audience to easily relate to her performance. Additionally, her ability to switch from a strong musical theatre belt, to a clear and supported head voice is worthy of praise.

The highlight of the evening was Palmer's re-worded song mash-up, where the subject of every popular tune one could imagine become boobs, titties, breasts, jugs, or any other number of terms which you could conceive. This musical arrangement was skilfully done, however they could occasionally benefit from some additional tweaking.

Palmer's wonderful humour is a mixture of the finest dad jokes and fantastically humorous, breast related observations. The show was simply yet effectively lit, well balanced, and suited the bohemian atmosphere of The Soul Box beautifully. Ultimately it was the combination of Palmer's wit, powerful voice, which was ably accompanied by Logan Watt, and the evocative storytelling which made this show. With only two more performances, I highly recommend this show to anyone who has, or knows someone who has breasts. Oh, and make sure you don't leave before the big finish.
