Australia's Beer Magician Taps Into The Fringe With Hilarious New Happy Hour Image

After dazzling viewers on hit US TV show Penn & Teller: Fool Us and winning millions of viral internet fans with his beer magic , Melbourne magician Dom Chambers returns to the Adelaide Fringe with even more laughs and pints up his sleeve in RanDom.

In 2018 Dom Chambers became the first Australian-based act to appear on Las Vegas magic competition show Penn & Teller: Fool Us, wowing top magicians Penn Jillette and Teller, host Alyson Hannigan and millions of viewers with his incredible beer-based illusions.

The clip of his performance instantly went viral with more than 1.2 million views on YouTube, while other videos of his comedy magic have racked up millions of views and likes on popular sharing sites such as UniLad, Lad Bible and ViralThread.

Now after a string of sold-out shows and rave reviews around the globe, including a season at the world's most prestigious and exclusive magic venue The Magic Castle in Hollywood, this award-winning young magician returns to Adelaide for an encore of his hit show RanDom.

Ditching the top hat and bunny for Tinder and beer, and doing tricks with everything from iPhones to blenders (and iPhones IN blenders), Dom Chambers turns traditional magic on its head, mixing jaw-dropping illusions with hilarious laughs in a must-see magic show like no other.

Forget pulling rabbits out of hats and cheesy tricks in RanDom I'm taking magic to a place it's never been before, while making audiences laugh at the same time, says Chambers.

It's also the only magic show at the Fringe that contains rapping, painting, and a cameo from the perfect magician's assistant: Siri. Plus there's a good chance you'll score a free beer.

For the past 12 months the 26-year-old performer has also been mentored by internationally acclaimed South Australian magician Matt Tarrant, as the winner of the inaugural Matt Tarrant Young Performer's Grant for the 2019 Adelaide Fringe.

You would be hard-pressed to find a magician more talented, unique and relatable than Dom, says Tarrant.

Over the past year I've seen his talent, performance and show step up to a new level, and it's bound to be his best Adelaide Fringe yet. Dom is going to be huge.

With his unique blend of comedy, magic and of course beer, Dom Chambers is one of Australia's most in-demand new talents taking the world of magic by storm. Hold on to your pint - this is one Fringe show that always ends in cheers!

RanDom runs March 5 to 17 at The Parasol Lounge in Gluttony. Tickets are now on sale via Fringetix at adelaidefringe.com.au or phone 1300 621 255, or visit gluttony.net.au
