Acclaimed Australian illusionist Michael Boyd brings Mystique and some of the world's best illusions to the Adelaide for 2 shows only.

Following his hugely successful Cabaret De Paris at Jupiters Casino, and off the back of standing ovations in Australia's Got Talent, internationally acclaimed illusionist Michael Boyd will present the famed live magic extravaganza Mystique at Her Majesty's Theatre on March 26th for 2 performances only. Celebrity magician Lawson Reeves (Big Brother 2014) and his girlfriend Cat will join Michael onstage.

Featuring some of the world's most impressive illusions (designed and built by the same team that work alongside the famous David Copperfield) as well as jaw-dropping escapes, levitations, transformations, special effects and mind blowing disappearances, Boyd's incredible production will surprise and delight.

"Audiences will be left in utter disbelief as they see things which they believe to be impossible yet are happening right in front of their eyes. The show will make people question their sense of reality and what is and isn't possible," said Michael Boyd.

"It's a perfect show for families on holidays from all over the country, as well as Melbourne residents who are known for supporting live theatre and events," he said. "Mystique promises dazzle Melbourne with a new kind of magic"

"That was Astonishing - you are a stunning Magician" Dawn French Australia's Got Talent

Last Year Michael braved the TV reality world and entered Australia's got Talent, he said of the experience " It was the most exciting, terrifying and gratifying appearance of my life - it could have gone sour and I took a risk, luckily the judges loved my act, but it was the pressure cooker environment that was most difficult to handle".

Mystique will play only 2 shows on Saturday the 26th of March with a special school holiday matinee at 2.30pm and evening show at 7.30 pm

Born in Melbourne, Michael Boyd's magician grandfather taught him all about the world of magic and by the age of 13, Boyd joined the Young Magicians Magic School to hone his craft. Following high school he hit the road performing three shows a day until he eventually got his big break on the TV show "Pot Luck". Since then, his career has skyrocketed and he's now one of the most acclaimed in the country.
