After sold out performances in Scotland, Ireland and the UK, 51 Shades of Maggie Muff is here and it's set to ruffle Adelaide's feathers from 20 June at the Royalty Theatre, Angas Street Adelaide for a strictly limited season - crude, raunchy and downright hilarious, it's a mufft-see!

Funnier, sexier and much ruder than Shirley Valentine, 51 Shades of Maggie Muff is the number one best selling spoof play of a certain 'Shades of Grey' novel. Don't be fooled though, it's certainly not your average, run of the mill 'Shades of Grey' send-up, with the show having sold out its 11 week run at Perth's Subiaco Arts Centre in late 2013 and is now playing in Brisbane.

Exploring the life of Maggie Muff; a smart, streetwise young woman, looking for love in all the wrong places... like the dole office, the Australian production is fiercely brought to life by Sydney actor/comedian Nikki Britton who The Melbourne Herald Sun have labelled as "...sensational, bubbly and over the top."

Britton makes it impossible not to fall in love with good-intentioned Maggie from the get go as she takes the audience on an erotic journey detailing the ins and outs, literally and figuratively, of Maggie's torrid and one-of-a-kind love affair with the elusive "Mr Big", with her captivating performance drawing laughter, empathy and shocked faces the whole way through.

Maggie Muff is directed by Terence O'Connell and presented by Simon Bryce and Andrew Guild who brought the record breaking Busting Out! and Mrs Brown's Boys to Australia.

Penned by Irish writer and single mum, Leesa Harker, Maggie Muff's journey began as a one-chapter, comedic, erotic novel circulated on Facebook. Within a few days however, it had a following of 15,000 and from this online exposure, Maggie's adventure eventually became a popular novel and from there, the runaway stage sensation 51 Shades of Maggie Muff was born which went on to sell out in Scotland, Ireland and the UK.

This racy Australian production is sure to induce pants-wetting laughter as well as teach lessons about life and love as audiences come to realise that in fact, there is a little bit of Maggie Muff in all of us. So emuff is emuff, get your tickets to the so wrong it's right, guffawing comedy, 51 Shades of Maggie Muff today - you won't regret it! (Prudes beware!)
