Interactive Theatre International presents: Faulty Towers The Dining Experience. Celebrating its 10th Adelaide Fringe in its 20th birthday year, this globetrotting Aussie hit returns with even more 5-star reviews on its plate - the latest just this month from Perth and London. It's 'an absolute blast' (Isolated Nation, Fringe World 2017).

With 70% of the show improvised, no two performances are ever the same. And with Basil, Sybil and Manuel serving huge spoonfuls of spontaneity along with a 3-course meal, it's easy to see why critics say the show's 'crammed full of laughs' (Everything Theatre, London 2017).

Chaos greets audiences as soon as they walk through the door. In this fully immersive show, the audience become diners in the Faulty hotel restaurant. A true blend of ingenious comedy, a unique theatrical script and a delicious meal, this multi-sensory experience is perfect for comedy fans, theatre fanatics and anyone who just fancies going out for a dinner they will never forget.

Adelaide Fringe has been pivotal for Faulty: 10 years ago, having featured in the Honey Pot scheme, the show went on to Edinburgh Fringe, and it now travels the world with 10 teams of cast. The Adelaide Fringe cast features Londoners Rob Langston (Basil) and Karina Garnett (Sybil), and Melbournite Anthony Sottile (Manuel).

Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is a tribute to the BBC's TV series, Fawlty Towers, and does not use the scripts written for that series by John Cleese and Connie Booth.

Born in Brisbane in 1997, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is now an international hit, appearing in around 20 countries a year and selling out at prestigious venues like Toronto's Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, London's Royal Albert Hall, Singapore's Raffles Hotel, and Cardiff's Wales Millennium Centre. It's also in the fifth year of a London West End residency where it's been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence two years running.

With a string of return visits to Fringe Festivals in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Edinburgh, it's clear that Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is the most successful interactive comedy show of its kind.

Produced by Interactive Theatre International (ITI), a company focused on producing and touring site-specific immersive theatre, Faulty Towers The Dining Experience is the perfect show for people who don't usually attend theatre. It is a light-hearted comedy that's hosted in a huge range of venues including country ranches, vineyards, hotels, restaurants and, of course, theatre spaces and arts centres.

ITI itself is a part of Imagination Workshop, a theatre Production Company with a real passion for education. Imagination Workshop uses theatre to enable people to understand the world differently, and it is dedicated to raising the profile of theatre so that it becomes an everyday choice of entertainment for everybody.
