The Royal Shakespeare Company is currently presenting Romeo and Juliet at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. The classic romantic tragedy is running in repertory as part of the Complete Works Festival through October 14th.

Directed by Nancy Meckler, the production features Rupert Evans as Romeo and Morven Christie as Juliet. "One of Shakespeare's earliest plays, Romeo and Juliet has become an iconic romantic tragedy, as two innocent young lovers fall victim to family hatred and cruel destiny," state production notes.
