Ashley Brown, the current Belle of Broadway in Disney's
Beauty and the Beast, will be among the stars performing at the South Jersey AIDS Alliance's Broadway on the Bay benefit at Atlantic City's Borgata on Monday, February 27th.
"Broadway on the Bay will offer an exciting night of entertainment featuring over 25 active Broadway performers," according to press notes. In addition to Brown, the evening will feature Tony-nominee
Terri White (
Barnum, Nunsense, Nunsense II, Ain't Misbehavin'), Allison Briner (
Les Miserables, Forbidden Broadway), D.B. Bonds (
Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables),
Sean McCourt (
Wicked), Lois Sage and newcomer Alexander Oyen. The show will be hosted by Kelly Briggs (
Les Miserables, Cats) and
Jerry Christakos (
Les Miserables, Kiss of the Spider Women).
The program will feature several dance numbers choreographed by Tralen Doler. John McMahon will be the show's musical director and arranger.
"The South Jersey AIDS Alliance was founded by a group of concerned citizens in Atlantic City in 1985. Over 20 years later it stands as Southeastern New Jersey's oldest and largest AIDS service organization offering AIDS and HIV support, info and services."
Beauty and the Beast, currently at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, also features

Peter Flynn and Meredith Inglesby, among others. Based on the classic animated Disney film, the show features a score by
Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and a book by
