Infertility: the musical that's hard to conceive will begin performances at Dillon's (245 West 54th Street) on Friday, October 14, and run through Saturday, December 31st.

The show, which was previously seen as part of the 2004 New York International Fringe Festival, is written and composed by Chris Neuner.  Infertility: the musical that's hard to conceive has musical direction by Albert Ahronheim, choreography by Michelle Yaroshko, and is directed by Dan Foster (Broadway Unplugged).  The show is presented by Kathryn Frawley and Neuner.

"Infertility: the musical that's hard to conceive follows the trials and tribulations of five would-be parents as they try to beat an uncooperative stork. The three fertility scenarios depicted are all based on real-life stories, including that of author/composer Chris Neuner and his wife, Amy.  By telling the stories of a Midwestern husband and wife undergoing fertility treatments, a single professional woman trying to adopt and a lesbian couple seeking the perfect sperm donor, Infertility: the musical that's hard to conceive lifts the taboo on a subject that affects 1 out of 7," state press notes.

The cast of the show, which is set at one hour and twenty minutes, features Erin Davie (national tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber), Jenni Frost (First Lady Suite at the Transport Group), Seri Johnson, Cadden Jones, Larry Picard and Kurt Robbins (national tour of Thoroughly Modern Millie).

The musical will play Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7:00 PM.  Tickets for Infertility: the musical that's hard to conceive are priced at $60.00 and are now on sale through www.smarttix.com (212-868-4444).  Please note: although food and drink is available at Dillon's, there is no minimum with the purchase of a ticket.  For more information, please visit www.infertilitymusical.com.
