Versatile actor/singer/songwriter Bob Stillman performed numbers from his debut album Come Down Angel at Joe's Pub on Sunday, August 7th. In the recently-released CD, Stillman sings his own soulful and searching songs.

Stillman contributed songs to the musical Urban Cowboy, and appeared on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman and Grand Hotel. He received a 2000 Tony Award nomination for his performance in Dirty Blonde, for which he was also the musical director, arranger and composer of the title song. Off-Broadway, he appeared in The Last Session and as Amiens in the recent Shakespeare in the Park production of As You Like It.
