Technology Center, 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale

Broward Cultural Division invites nonprofit managers, board members and development staff to participate in one, two or three free webinars presented by The Foundation Center and Nova Southeastern University, on October 1, 15 & 28 2008, at The Alvin Sherman Library, Research and Information Technology Center, 3100 Ray Ferrero Jr. Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale. These presentations will be part of National Arts and Humanities Month Creative Conversations initiative.

Every October, in honor of National Arts & Humanities Month, Americans for the Arts partners with emerging leaders from across the country to host Creative Conversations. Last year, more than 1,000 emerging arts leaders participated in 41 locally-hosted Creative Conversation sessions throughout the country, and those leaders continue to be engaged at the national level.

Join presenters and your local colleagues to learn about foundation giving for arts and culture. Gain insights about the latest funding trends from Foundation Center experts and hear about grant-making interests and priorities from some of the nation's top foundations.
