Christian Siriano, winner of season four of the popular Bravo! series "Project Runway" will be designing Tony host Whoopi Goldberg's gown for the upcoming 2008 award show.

"You're not boring or dull and neither am I," Goldberg told Siriano on the May 27th broadcast of the "The View". In that same show, Siriano showed various sketches of Whoopi's soon to be gown off with her as the paper model.

On a March 2008 Ellen appearance, Siriano described himself as a "musical theater kid who loved costumes". He would often spend time backstage at his sister's dance recitals, where he befriended costume designers and developed an interest in fashion. After graduating from college in Baltimore, he moved to New York City. His career has taken off to new heights after being crowned the winner of "Project Runway".
