New World Repertory Theater Announces Sixth Season

A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare

This frolicking roll through the forest includes feral fairies, thespian mechanicals and mixed up lovers, all with the modern twist that made last season's Hamlet Remix'd so popular. Directed by Shakespeare veteran Jean Gottlieb

A Midsummer Night's Dream opens Saturday, October 11, 2008, 7:30 p.m.  Preview Friday, October 10, 2008, 7:30 p.m. and will runs through Saturday, November 8, 2008. Performances are Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m.

Tickets prices
$20 for adults
$15 for seniors and students, and for each ticket in groups of ten or more
$12 matinees on Sundays

The Holiday Improv Show

                    
The Family Theater Series presents an all ages Holiday Improv show in December 2008. Created by the actors and performed each night with help from the audience, this fast paced improvisation-based show is sure to delight the whole family.
 
The Holiday Improv Show opens Friday, December 5, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. and runs through Sunday, December 28, 2008 at 3p.m.            
Performances are Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 3 and 7:30 p.m., and Sundays at 3 p.m.
No shows December 13 at 7:30 p.m. or December 14 at 3 p.m.
 
Ticket prices    
$20 for adults
$15 for seniors and students, and for each ticket in groups of ten or more
$12 matinees on Saturdays and Sundays
$10 for children under 12

Betrayal by Harold Pinter

This intriguing love triangle is the story of Robert, his wife Emma and his best friend Jerry, a classic modern English drama that examines the hopes and dreams that lie beneath our intrigues and disguises.
          
Betrayal opens Saturday, February 21, 2009, 7:30 p.m and runs through Saturday, March 21, 2009, 7:30 p.m. Preview Friday, February 20, 2009, 7:30 p.m.
Performances are Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Sundays at 3 p.m.
 
Ticket Prices

All shows will be performed at New World Repertory Theater, 923 Curtiss St. in Downers Grove, IL (handicapped accessible with chair lift), with street and lot parking availability. The Metra line from downtown Chicago is the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Suburban Chicago to Aurora (Main St. Downers Grove stop).
