Eikenberry & Tucker in Bay Area Cabaret Debut Nov.11

"Perfect Pairings," the Bay Area Cabaret 2007-2008 Concert Season, features duo performances by top performers and vocalists in a varied season of theatre, jazz, pop and Broadway artists at some of San Francisco's most elegant venues.

The season begins on Sunday, November 11 at 7PM, with the Bay Area premiere of Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker's "Life is a Duet" at the Florence Gould Theatre of the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park. Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander. This talented couple of veteran theatre, film and television actors presents the West Coast premiere of their multimedia cabaret evening of songs, film and TV clips that tells the story of their life together on screen and off.

Bay Area Cabaret continues the 2007-2008 Concert Season of duo performances with John Pizzarelli & Jessica Molaskey — "A Pop-Jazz Evening" on Sunday, December 9, 2007, at the Crystal Ballroom, Marines Memorial Club; Amanda McBroom & Melissa Manchester — "In Their Own Words" on Saturday, February 23, 2008, at Herbst Theatre; and Christine Ebersole with Billy Stritch — "In Your Dreams" on Sunday, March 9, 2008, at the Commandants Room, Marines Memorial Club.

Former Bay Area residents Jill Eikenberry and Michael Tucker ("L.A. Law") offer an entertaining evening of songs, stories, film clips—and even a cooking segment. "Life is a Duet" depicts their 35-year marriage, its highs and lows, and how they remain as in love today as the day they met. A Bay Area debut not to be missed! Directed by Richard Jay-Alexander.

From the Kennedy Center, Cafe Carlyle, and performing arts centers around the world, jazz guitarist John Pizzarelli (son of jazz legend Bucky Pizzarelli) and Broadway star Jessica Molaskey (Tommy, Chess, Oklahoma!) bring their all-star quartet to the 200-seat Crystal Ballroom.

Appearing for the first time ever together on stage, Bay Area Cabaret presents two of today's top singer-songwriters, Amanda McBroom (The Rose), returning to Bay Area Cabaret after her sold-out performance last fall, and Grammy Award-winning artist Melissa Manchester (Don't Cry Out Loud, Whenever I Call you Friend, You Should Hear How She Talks About You).  These real-life friends perform their original songs and songs by others who have influenced them.

Tony Award-winner Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens; 42nd Street) and legendary accompanist Billy Stritch perform their brand new show from Lincoln Center's American Songbook program.

Bay Area Cabaret is a 501(c)(3) not-for profit company, which presents extraordinary performances in a variety of elegant venues in the San Francisco Bay Area.
