Members of the casts of Mamma Mia!, The Producers, Spamalot and Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular will stage a performance of "God Lives in Glass" to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada.

Performers, musicians and crew donate their time and talents to stage the hugely popular performance. "God Lives in Glass" presents 16 songs that range from rap to reggae to pop to gospel, representing Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Islam and other diverse faiths from around the world.

The benefit performance will be staged on Saturday, September 22 at 2PM at Faith Community Lutheran Church, 2700 S. Town Center Drive in Summerlin. The theatrical concert is based on the book, "God Lives in Glass," by Robert J. Landy, Ph.D., a NYU drama therapy professor who interviewed children from around the world about their perceptions of God. Composer Keith Thompson, who moved to Las Vegas as musical director of We Will Rock You, Hairspray and The Producers worked with Landy and Greg Ganakas to adapt the book into a musical revue.

Minimum donation is $35. Childcare will be provided. Tickets to the event may be purchased at www.godlivesinglass.com. For reservations or more information, call 702-686-7034.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Nevada grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since the chapter's inception in 1996, more than 800 wishes have been granted for children throughout the Southern Nevada territory. A second performance, which will support Teens in Crisis, has been scheduled Sunday October 7 at 3PM at the Flamingo Library, 1401 E. Flamingo Road
