Rovion Inc., described as "the leader in creating technologies that humanize the delivery of content to online audiences," and Telecharge.com, the official ticket source for many of New York City's top Broadway shows, have joined forces to drive ticket sales for the nation's leading productions.  The year-long campaign, which runs through December, features leading talent from the Broadway hits Spamalot, Curtains, A Chorus Line, and Spring Awakening, in a walk-on performance on Telecharge.com.

Rovion's InPerson™ platform allows the Broadway actors to walk onto web visitors' screens and show off their characters' personalities while personally inviting online audiences to click on them to purchase tickets.  After clicking on the actors, visitors are taken to the "Online Box Office," where tickets can be purchased online.  The campaign comes at a time when theater-goers increasingly are searching for seats to their favorite shows online.

"Much like the theatre experience itself, Rovion allows us to create an intimate entertainment experience with our audiences," stated David Andrews, Vice President of Shubert Ticketing.  "Bringing characters to life on the web creates a personal connection with potential theatre-goers.  We are pleased with the sales conversation rates that we have experienced as a result of using InPerson™ and are excited to see new characters from our shows implemented throughout the year."

Telecharge.com is working with Rovion for a second consecutive year as a result of the highly successful interactivity rates experienced in previous campaigns paired with the way InPerson™ allows the actors to create a personal connection with online audiences.  Last year's InPerson™ campaign, which featured Martin Short promoting Fame Becomes Me, resulted in a 7.49% click-through rate.  This year's campaign features Broadway stars including:

·         The French Taunter from Spamalot

·         Val (Jessica Lee Goldyn) from A Chorus Line

·         Moritz (Tony-winner John Gallagher Jr.) from Spring Awakening

·         Christopher Belling (Edward Hibbert) from Curtains

These actors appear on top of all other web content to personally interact with Telecharge.com visitors – with the human benefits of voice inflections, facial cues and body language.  To view the campaign, visit:

"Rovion's InPerson™ platform enables web visitors to interact with actors from top Broadway shows while directing them to purchase tickets to see the actors live on stage," stated Len Ostroff, CEO of Rovion.  "Rovion provides Telecharge.com with a way to extend the Broadway experience, bringing these characters to life for web visitors."

"Headquartered in Owings Mills, MD, Rovion is the leader in creating technologies that humanize the delivery of content to online audiences.  Rovion helps leading brands create an emotional connection with their online audiences, leading to increased response rates, retention and revenues.  InPerson ™ spokespeople appear seamlessly on top of other website content, outside of the four walls of traditional video players, to bring messages closer to the audience, reaching a level of personal engagement never before experienced online," state press notes.

Telecharge.com is "a service of The Shubert Organization; Broadway's largest theatre owner and operator, with additional venues in Boston, Washington, and Philadelphia, and a provider of ticketing services nationwide. Drawing upon The Shubert Organization's 100 years of experience, Telecharge.com is at the forefront of the ticketing industry, delivering innovative ticketing solutions for the many users of its call center and online services."
