Indie Theatre Festival FRIGID New York Plays March 7-18

Horse Trade in Association with EXIT Theatre will present FRIGID New York, billed as "an open and uncensored theater festival," from March 7th  - 18th, 2007.

The various shows will play The Kraine Theater & The Red Room (85 E 4th St.), and UNDER St. Marks (94 St. Marks Place) in its Basement Theater,.

"This March, Horse Trade debuts FRIGID New York, the first ever CAFF-sanctioned festival in New York City. The artistic freedom of the FRIGID New York participating artists is entirely uncensored. The first stop on the 2007 North American Fringe Circuit is proudly produced in association with San Francisco's EXIT Theatre (home of the San Francisco Fringe; the second oldest fringe in the USA)," state press materials.

"FRIGID New York boasts over 150 shows from 30 established Indie companies from all over the globe".

Canterbury Tales
"Eric DeWaal joins us from Cape Town with his South African solo re-telling of Chaucer's classic.  Best of Fringe, Winnipeg, and two time Top Ten winner on the CAFF circuit."

Legoland
"Atomic Vaudeville is our most-awarded participant! Four - Time 'Critic's Choice' award winner; Victoria and Vancouver, Two – Time 'Best New Play' Winner; Toronto and Victoria, and "Award for Creativity and Innovation"; Victoria."

Wits End by Sandra Shamas

The Burning Bush by Tracey Erin Smith

Participants from New York include: two shows from former Horse Trade resident Tom X. Chao, Christen Clifford's hit Babylove, an improvised play from the UCB Trained League Tea Partyy, world premieres for Horse Trade residents Suzanne Bachner and Dysfunctional Theatre Company, up-and-coming playwrights Robert Attenweiller, and Greg Turner, and a new offering from Indie veteran Radiotheatre.
