Sealed for Freshness, "the new Tupperware comedy," is set in the 1960's. The women of Sealed for Freshness are struggling with lost  youth, missed opportunities and deviled egg containers.  In other words, they¹re the original Desperate Housewives," press materials state.

Sealed for Freshness premiered in a sold-out 2003 limited engagemnt Off Broadway at the Pantheon Theater and has since had coast-to-coast SRO runs.
