'Improv Festival 2007!'
2007 MIAMI IMPROV FESTIVAL PRESENTS FREE IMPROV SHOW FOR SAVE THE DATE EVENT
The 2007 Miami Improv Festival (MIF 2007) presented by Just The Funny, a four-day festival featuring the best in improv and sketch comedy from around the world, and taking place from Thursday, January 11 through Sunday, January 14, 2007, will be presenting a free improv comedy show from South Florida powerhouse Just The Funny to help kick off South Florida's premier comedy event. The MIF 2007 Save the Date Spectacular will feature a free raffle, door prizes and a free interactive 'Whose Line is it Anyway' style improv show.
'This is going to be a blowout event,' says executive producer David Christopher. 'We are so excited to have one of the best improv festivals in the world, that we figured we should get the public involved early, and what better than offering a free improv show, along with great door prizes to get the party started. The best part is that we are going to announce some groundbreaking surprises that will make this the biggest and best improv event to ever play South of Chicago.'
Going into its 5th year, MIF's latest edition will present the top improv and sketch comedy acts from around the world, performing shows and teaching workshops at the festival. The event will top previous editions of what is South Florida's premier comedy event, and one of the world's top improv festivals.
This year's Miami Improv Festival, will feature both The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade, known best for creating much of the talent seen on TV's popular comedy shows: Saturday Night Live and Mad TV. MIF 2007 will also offer workshops from improv's finest including The Second City and Upright Citizens Brigade.
