Face to Face Festival 2015 moves to The White Bear Theatre in Kennington for an extended two weeks celebrating The Best of the Festivals 2012 - 2015.
The Press Launch on Tuesday 30 June at 7.30pm features selected extracts from eight shows and gives an overview of the entire festival featuring not just established artists but also new talent discovered by the festival.
The irresistible selection of theatrical treats includes: Jack Klaff's Under a Foreign Sky; Sian Webber as Martha Gellhorn; Lola in London; Peter Hammill's opera The Fall of the House of Usher; The Singing Psychic; Betty has to Go Now and Claire Dowie in a PERFORMANCE MARATHON of FIVE of her solo plays in FIVE DAYS (for two weeks!).
Claire Dowie's plays mounted specially for the Face to Face Festivals 2012/15 continue to win national and international awards.
There is exciting new work from Face to Face Festival stars Stephen Oxley and Martin Stewart and a tribute to solo theatre legend Ken Campbell with extracts from his cult comedy classic The Recollections of a Furtive Nudist performed by Martin Stewart.
We will also be running two courses for new Solo Theatre performers with showcase workshop performances on July 7 at 7.30pm Many of the outstanding performers featured in this festival created their shows in Face to Face Festival workshops. Don't miss the next generation's exciting new ideas!
