The competition is getting tough, people! We are now down to the final 12! The live shows are off to a great start. The stakes have been raised once again. The 3 contestants left in each category will compete tonight to win the votes of viewers at home. That's right- the finalists' fates will now be in your hands! The contestants must bring their A game tonight, since they don't just have to win over the judges anymore, now they have to impress America as well in order to make it one step closer to winning The X Factor. THE X FACTOR: The Live Shows Begin!

This is it everyone- the live shows are finally here! Tonight is the night that the real competition begins. The finals have begun and the winner is among the 17 contestants that are performing tonight. On top of that, by the end of the episode, five more will be eliminated and each judge has to choose only three from their group to move on to next week. Pressure is on as the finalists perform live for the judges, a studio audience, and the viewers at home. Who will prove they deserve to take it all? Who will choke so close to the finish line? The moment you have all been waiting for has arrived- the finalists have been revealed! After surviving the auditions, boot camp, and now the judges' home round, the toughest competitors are singled out to go head-to-head. This is the last installment of the three part judges' homes round, which means that the judges have each made their decisions of which four contestants from their group have what it takes to compete in the live finals. THE X FACTOR: The Contestants Visit The Judges' Homes!

The time has come everyone- the best of the best are suiting up and getting ready to face-off! It's the Judges' Homes round which means that we are just one step away from the highly anticipated live shows! After surviving Boot Camp, the remaining 32 contestants were separated into groups and assigned one of the four judges as a mentor. The stakes are raised as the competition is now not only between the contestants, but also between the judges to prove that they have the performer with 'The X Factor!' Over the course of three episodes, contestants will get the opportunity to visit their assigned judge's home and the 32 will be cut into the 16 who will move on to the live finals. (more...)

The auditions are over ladies and gents. Meaning it's now time to separate the good from the great, the vocally talented from the vocally strained and, of course, the sane from the crazies. THE X FACTOR: A Night of Rain, Creeps, and Planet Paula

The X Factor came back with its third round of auditions this week, in none other but the very rainy and windy cities of Chicago and Seattle. The rain didn't seem dampen the contestants' spirits however. The night included a wide range of performances; some of which left me misty eyed and yearning to hear more and others left me wondering what sort of strange drugs the contestants ingested before heading onto the stage. Simon Cowell Developing X FACTOR Musical for West End!

According to Deadline.com, Simon Cowell, who will soon launch his new seris 'The X Factor' in the United States, is currently working on developing a stage show based on the series. Cowell has reportedly joined forces with comedian Harry Hill and music producer Steve Brown to create the book and music for the project, which is being created to open in a West End theatre. Additional details on the premise of the musical have not not been announced. (more...)
