According to the Hollywood Reporter, TLC has obtained the rights to the upcoming documentary, SUSAN BOYLE: AN UNLIKELY SUPERSTAR. It will debut on Sunday, November 6th at 8:00 pm ET. Billboard Charts Prove Favorable for Susan Boyle & GLEE

British singer Susan Boyle and Glee's newest addition, Darren Criss, are the frontrunners for Billboard's top charts this week. The Gift, Boyle's new album, which has sold 318,000 copies so far, currently sits at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. Glee's rendition of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream," showcasing lead vocals from Criss, sold 214,000 copies, putting the song at the top of Billboard's Digital Songs chart. (more...)

Boyle in Talks to Perform for Pope in September

Former 'Britain's Got Talent' contestant Susan Boyle may sing for Pope Benedict XVI when he visits Britain this September, the Associated Press reports today. Although talks are still in progress, Boyle will likely perform at a papal Mass in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow on September 16. Benedict's visit will be the first visit of a pope to Britain since 1982; he will address Parliament and beatify nineteenth-century Cardinal John Henry Newman. (more...)

Susan Boyle to Sing 'Everybody Hurts' on Simon Cowell's Haiti Charity Single; Additional Stars Added

Earlier last week it was announced that Simon Cowell would helm a charity single Live Aid-style with proceeds going to the relief efforts in Haiti. International musicians are rallying to assist with the charity record, including Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, and Jon Bon Jovi (as announced by Perez Hilton yesteday), joining the previously announced Michael Buble, Rod Stewart and Leona Lewis. Ke$ha, the 22-year-old "TiK ToK" singer, debut album, 'Animal' has premiered at #1 on the Billboard charts, ending Susan Boyle's six week stranglehold on the coveted spot with 'I Dreamed a Dream.' Animal, released last week, sold 152,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Scottish songbird Susan Boyle will join famed opera tenor Andrea Bocelli, who has sold a record 70 million albums, on stage in a duet to be aired as part of a new British TV talent show called Pop Star to Opera Star, the UK Daily Mail reports. On the show, pop singers are trained to sing arias.
