On Saturday afternoon, Lt. Col Emmett 'Lee' Wingfield III of the 621 CRW and his family attended SPIDER-Man Turn Off the Dark through the "Real Heroes" program, which provides specially priced tickets for America's Real Heroes and their families. Being on active duty for 18 years in the Air Force as an officer means they rarely get family time, and they made this special trip to NY for his son's 10th birthday. BREAKING NEWS: Robert Cuccioli to Replace Patrick Page as 'Green Goblin' in SPIDER-MAN

Broadway star Robert Cuccioli, best known for his Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle winning and Tony-nominated performance as the star of Jekyll and Hyde, will take on another dual role in his long-anticipated return to Broadway: Norman Osborn / The Green Goblin in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Embarking on its second year on Broadway, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark began preview performances on November 28, 2010, and officially opened on Tuesday, June 14, 2011.(100.02% capacity of The Foxwoods Theatre); set the weekly box office record of $2,941,790.20; and shattered the annual box office record of the Foxwoods Theatre by almost $35 million. Photo Flash: SPIDER-MAN Welcomes Sailors Aboard USS Wasp for Fleet Week 2012

In honor of Fleet Week, Broadway's own super hero Spider-Man, welcomed real American heroes from the U.S. Armed Services to New York City, sailing into New York Harbor aboard the USS Wasp in the "Parade of Ships" earlier today. Spider-Man was given a tour of the ship by the Admiral, took photos with sailors, and gave a salute to everyone onboard for their service. (more...)

SPIDER-MAN Producers Ordered to Give Information to Injured Stuntman

According to the Associated Press, a stuntman from Broadway's SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK is considering suing the production over injuries suffered in 2010-11. Richard Kobak (Joshua Kobak according to cast lists for the show), claims not only that he suffered knee injuries while filling in for another cast member in 2010, but that 'a computer program controlling one of his jumps from a balcony sent him flying into a wall on April 5, 2011.' Katrina Lenk to Join SPIDER-MAN as 'Arachne' 5/29; Sajous to Depart

Producers Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris announced today that Katrina Lenk will be joining the cast of Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, in the role of "Arachne". Christina Sajous, who currently plays the role of "Arachne", will play her final performance on Sunday, May 27thwith Lenk assuming the role on Tuesday, May 29th. Reeve Carney, Patrick Page, and Rebecca Faulkenberry will continue on in their roles as "Peter Parker/Spider-Man", "Norman Osborn/Green Goblin", and "Mary Jane Watson" respectively. (more...)

In the Style of David Merrick - SPIDER-MAN Responds to Tony Snubs with Free 6/10 Tickets for 'Tonys'

Not since David Merrick has a 'stunt' like this ever been pulled on Broadway... Michael Cohl and Jeremiah J. Harris, producers of SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, today made a special, unprecedented Tony-related announcement in response to the show's receipt of only two Tony nominations. The high flying production will hold a special Tony Sunday performance at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, for which anyone with the first name Anthony, Tony, Antonio, Antoinette, Toni, or Antonia will be eligible to receive a free ticket.
