GODSPELL Revival Cast Album in the Works!

The 40th Anniversary production and first-ever Broadway revival of Stephen Schwartz's rock musical GODSPELL officially opened at the Circle in the Square Theater last night, November 7. Producer Ken Davenport recenty tweeted that a cast album for the show is currently in the works, and BroadwayWorld.com has confirmed that the GODSPELL band was recording today in the studio with composer/lyricist Stephen Schwartz and Sh-k-boom's Kurt Deutsch. No official date has been made available for the label, but official information is expected shortly. (more...)
