BWW TV: BWW Catches Up with Corbin Bleu - Hopes for Broadway Return Soon

On the heels of a highly successful Broadway run, the electrifying Latin and ballroom dance spectacular BURN THE FLOOR plays the Pantages Theatre for a strictly-limited 2 week engagement, which began April 26. The show will run through May 8, 2011. The Los Angeles engagement features So You Think You Can Dance alumni Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara, and Karen Hauer. Also featured is Vonzell Solomon, second runner-up in Season Four of American Idol, who is BURN THE FLOOR's female vocalist. Corbin Bleu Extends in IN THE HEIGHTS to 8/17; Seth Stewart Returns as Graffiti Pete

Kevin McCollum, Jeffrey Seller and Jill Furman Willis, the producers of the 2008 Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical In The Heights, announced today that Seth Stewart will return to the role of 'Graffiti Pete,' the role he originated, for 4 weeks only from Monday, June 7, through Satuday, July 3, 2010 at Broadway's Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 West 46th Street). In addition Corbin Bleu has added a final 3 additional weeks to his critically acclaimed run in In The Heights. Corbin Bleu's final performance is Tuesday, August 17, and beginning August 19, In The Heights will star American Idol winner Jordin Sparks. (more...)

Over 400 students representing 18 New York City public middle schools had the chance of a lifetime when they performed songs from Broadway musicals on the stage of the Majestic Theatre yesterday, May 17 as part of the 5th annual Broadway Junior Student Share program.
