Beginning with tonight's performance, Andy Karl and Quinn Van Antwerp have joined the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) steps in the role of Tommy DeVito; Dominic Nolfi departed on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp steps in the role of Bob Gaudio; Ryan Jesse departed October 9. Erik Bates played the role of Tommy DeVito for performances September 27 through October 9. Check out photos of the new Jersey Boys in action below!

Drury Lane Theatre presents the Tony Award-winning international hit musical AIDA, Directed and Choreographed by Jeff Award winner Jim Corti (Sweet Charity, Meet Me in St. Louis, Cabaret, and Sugar.) Featuring a dynamic cast led by Stephanie Umoh as 'Aida' ('Sarah' in the 2009 Broadway production of Ragtime) and Jared Zirilli as 'Radames' (first National Tour of Wicked), AIDA opens March 24 and runs through May 29 at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane.

Last night, August 16, The Broadway Boys took the stage at Birdland. Featuring regulars Jesse Nager (Mary Poppins), Michael James Scott (Jersey Boys), Mykal Kilgore (Hair), Danny Calvert (Altar Boyz), Gabe Violett (Spring Awakening), and Zak Resnick (Dogfight), the concert also showcased special guest Natalie Weiss from Wicked.

Tony Award winners John Lithgow and Jennifer Ehle star as MR. & MRS. FITCH in the world premiere comedy from Douglas Carter Beane at Second Stage Theatre. The production marks MR. Beane's return to Second Stage Theatre where his critically acclaimed, Tony-nominated play The Little Dog Laughed premiered in 2005. MR. & MRS. FITCH is directed by Scott Ellis, who also staged the world premiere and Broadway transfer of The Little Dog Laughed. Previews began on January 26 and the show officially opened last night, February 22 and BroadwayWorld was there!

Only two weeks remain for Chicagoans to see WICKED, the musical phenomenon that has changed Chicago for good. Performances have been selling out but good seats are still available for Tuesday and Wednesday performances with limited availability for weekends. The WICKED drawing will continue to take place for all performances. WICKED will take its final bow in Chicago on January 25, 2009.
