RUTHLESS! star Rita McKenzie made a triumphant return to Feinstein's/54 Below on December 12th with her award-winning ETHEL MERMAN'S BROADWAY, the country's longest-running one woman musical. Ms. McKenzie has performed this critically acclaimed show throughout the world - from New York's Carnegie Hall to Pasadena Playhouse - from Canada to Europe and Asia. 

11-year-old Tori Murray, the young star of Off-Broadway's musical smash RUTHLESS!, performed at the fifth annual 'Night of Dreams' holiday gala in Bryant Park on November 30th presented by the Broadway Dreams Foundation. Broadway's brightest stars and patrons of the arts joined together for a festive celebration of the country's premier musical theatre training program. Tori wowed the assembled guests with a rousing rendition of 'You Raise Me Up,' along with Quentin Earl Darrington (RAGTIME) and Broadway Dreams student Isabella Gottfried.

Paul Pecorino, currently starring in the Off-Broadway smash RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL, was a special celebrity presenter at the 17th Annual Glam Awards on November 18th, where he appeared as his imperious (and uber glam) RUTHLESS! character, Sylvia St. Croix. The Glam Awards, hosted by Bianca Del Rio, honor the brightest stars in NYC gay nightlife and over 400 guests were in attendance. 

Once in a great while, an electric talent explodes onto New York's musical theatre scene, earning unanimous accolades from audiences and critics. This season, lightning hit with the debut of Kim Maresca in the leading role of Judy Denmark in Off-Broadway's RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL. On November 17th, Kim took her act on the road, eight blocks north of RUTHLESS! to be exact, to make her Feinstein's/54 Below debut. KIM MARESCA: THE NEXT STAGE proved to be a triumphant sold-out musical evening, with a portion of the proceeds donated to Broadway Dreams. One of the highlights of the event was a surprise appearance by Broadway star Kelli Rabke who joined Kim onstage for a showstopping duet.

Tori Murray, the young star of Off-Broadway's smash hit musical RUTHLESS!, recently attended the 17th annual Nickelodeon HALO Awards at Pier 36 in New York City. The HALO Awards honor teens that are making a difference and Justin Bieber was this year's recipient of the first ever HALO Hall of Fame Award for his work with Make-A-Wish. The awards will be broadcast November 29th at 8 PM on Nickelodeon, TVLand and CMT. Scroll down for photo of Murray at the ceremony!

You never know who you're going to see at RUTHLESS! Larry Thomas, who played the iconic role of the Soup Nazi on SEINFELD, attended the smash hit musical last week. Thomas happily posed for photos with the cast after the performance announcing (to their giddy delight), 'No soup for RUTHLESS!' Scroll down to check them out!

Ron Howard took in a performance of the Off-Broadway hit Ruthless! The Musical this past Saturday, November 7th. After laughing heartily throughout the entire show, Howard was the first to leap to his feet at the curtain call's standing ovation. As a former top international child star himself, Howard was particularly interested in meeting the 11-year-old star of RUTHLESS!, Tori Murray. The two can be seen below posing and goofing with each other after Saturday's performance!

Just last night, Feinstein's/54 Below presented the debut of Jennifer Diamond, currently co-starring in the smash hit musical RUTHLESS!. Jennifer's new show IT'S MY FIRST TIME (PLEASE BE GENTLE) was directed by Broadway veteran Richard Jay-Alexander. The two first worked together on LES MISERABLES and a number of benefits and Jay-Alexander found her uniquely talented and versatile enough to put a special spin on a debut act for her, recounting her arrival in the business, her story as an up-and-coming actress and all the good (and bad) that goes with it.

Longtime partners and the creators of the hit musical RUTHLESS!, Marvin Laird and Joel Paley, were married in a private ceremony this past Sunday, November 1st. It was truly a family affair with two of the producers, Maxine Paul and Evan Sacks, standing up for the resplendent grooms as maid of honor and best man respectively. (Reports remain spotty on precisely who stood up for whom.) The initial announcement of the nuptials occurred at the July 13th opening night of RUTHLESS! when Paley proposed to Laird while making a celebratory toast at the post-performance party. Sunday's wedding was held at the beautiful home of the show's third producer, Ken Schur, and his lovely and charming wife Janet. Due to overwhelming demand, the producers of the Off-Broadway smash, RUTHLESS! The Musical, recently put a new block of seats on sale through January 2, 2016.

Haven Burton, currently starring as Lauren in Broadway's KINKY BOOTS, attended the Sept. 21st performance of the Off-Broadway hit RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL at St. Luke's Theatre. Laura Bell Bundy, star of the original production of RUTHLESS!, checked out the new production this past Thursday, September 17th. Bundy played the lethally talented 8-year-old, Tina Denmark, in the original 1992 Off-Broadway production. Her two understudies during that yearlong run also did well for themselves in the intervening years; Britney Spears and Natalie Portman. Bundy was the first to lead the standing ovation at the end of Thursday's performance. Scroll down for photos!

Joel Paley has earned accolades for over two decades with RUTHLESS! The Musical, for which he wrote the award-winning book and lyrics. He also directed the original 1992 production at the Player's Theatre, as well as in L.A., South Beach, the record-breaking concert event starring Bernadette Peters, and the current smash Off-Broadway production at St. Luke's Theatre. If that isn't enough, Paley is also starring in the show this week as the 8-year-old murderous, uber-talented Tina Denmark. The role is normally played by Tori Murray who is taking a brief, well-deserved vacation as she prepares to enter sixth grade next week. She's set to return to the role tomorrow, and Joel Paley will offer audiences his showstopping take on the role one more time tonight at 7 PM. When asked why the 59-year-old Paley was interested in stepping into this seemingly impossible assignment, he merely shrugged and explained, 'The show must go on.' Scroll down for photos!

Barbara Eden, star of NBC-TV's long-running 1960s comedy smash I DREAM OF JEANNIE, caught a recent performance of the Off-Broadway hit RUTHLESS! and she visited with the entire cast after the show. Scroll down for photos of her with the company!

Jiggly Caliente, celebrity drag queen and TV star ("RuPaul's Drag Race," "Broad City"), attended Off-Broadway's smash hit RUTHLESS! The Musical on August 10th and happily mingled with the cast after the show. The performance was a special benefit for Narcissistic Fibrosis, a cause which was at the center of Ms. Caliente's 2009 campaign landing her the coveted title of Ms. Universo Latina Plus.

The cast of Off-Broadway's smash hit RUTHLESS! The Musical met the stars of the live dance sensation BALLROOM WITH A TWIST, which is currently touring the country. And the sparks flew! It was a love-fest for the talented showmen and women after the August 10th performance of RUTHLESS! when the stars of both of both shows mingled and posed for photos. RUTHLESS! THE MUSICAL entertained the crowd on Fran Drescher's New York Harbor cruise to kick off Gay Pride Week last Sunday, June 21st. A benefit for Cancer Schmancer, the floating party was held aboard the Hornblower Hybrid. Patti LuPone joined the festivities immediately following her matinee of SHOWS FOR DAYS along with other celebrity guests including Thomas Roberts, Patti Stanger, Jill Zarin, Peter Marc Jacobson, and Ann Hampton Callaway.

Liz Duffy Adams, whose play, 'The Reckless Ruthless Brutal Charge Of It, or The Train Play' is now on stage at convergence continuum is noted for being an American abstract writer. The word 'abstract' may be the key to confronting 'The Train Play.'
