In 1936, 12 year old Frankie Ross Wolpin sat next to her cousin George Gershwin on his piano bench in New York City while he played the piano.  Last night (February 5th 2026) the 101 year old Frankie was seated next to Michael Feinstein on another piano bench as he played and sang Gershwin’s “Our Love Is Here To Stay”.

Actors Co-op Theatre Company (Ovation Award-Winner 2017 Best Play, Intimate Theatre for 33 Variations) is proud to present the 1962 Tony Award-winner for Best Play, Robert Bolt's A Man for All Seasons, directed by Thom Babbes, produced by Carly Lopez. This tragic historical drama offers a brilliant portrait of Sir Thomas More in his last years as Lord Chancellor of England during the reign of Henry VIII.  A Man for All Seasons opens tonight, Friday, March 2 at 8:00 pm, and will run through Sunday, April 15 at the Actors Co-op David Schall Theatre, 1760 N. Gower Street, 90028 (on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood) in Hollywood.

The Old Globe welcomes Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, making his musical directing debut with RAIN, a sumptuous world premiere musical by one of the most significant teams working in theatre today: composer and lyricist Michael John LaChiusa and book writer Sybille Pearson. Based on the short story by Somerset Maugham, RAIN will play now through May 1, 2016 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. PIERRE DE LA ROCHE , the acclaimed French performer, made his American concert debut with his show "Salut Charles!" - honoring the iconic entertainer Charles Aznavour- at Don't Tell Mama in three very special shows January 9, 10 and 11 in 2014. According to Radio France International, De La Roche is "an artist who stirs the emotions of the audience and has mastered the repertoire he tackles in 'Salut Charles!'" After the program's debut in the former silent movie theater in Berlin Delphi, the show has toured extensively in Germany and France. The evening features songs performed in French, English and German, including the hits Aznavour wrote like "Yesterday, When I Was Young." "You've Let Yourself Go" and "What Makes A Man a Man," in addition to classics he performs such as "La Mer (Beyond the Sea)" "Padam" and Lili Marleen." Mark Hartman serves as Music Director.

Broadway's Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street), just celebrated its 100th Anniversary yesterday, December 20th. The theatre, which opened on December 20, 1912 with a Peg O'My Heart starring Laurette Taylor, is currently home to the Broadway Premiere of Grace, which will end its limited engagement on January 6, 2013. It will next be home to the World Premiere production of Truman Capote's Breakfast at Tiffany's, a new play written by Richard Greenberg, which starts performances on Monday, March 4 and opens on Wednesday, March 20.
