The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Amazing Sex - A New Revue, written by Barry Harman and Keith Herrmann. The event starred Alison Fraser, Jason Graae and Caesar Samayoa. Amazing Sex is a tuneful, sophisticated look at adult intimacy written by the duo who created Romance/Romance. The fabulous Lypsinka, Tony Award-winner Alan Cumming (CABARET, 'The Good Wife'), and Tony nominees Alison Fraser (SECRET GARDEN, ROMANCE/ROMANCE) and Andrew Rannells (BOOK OF MORMON) all made appearances at Abingdon Theatre Company's 19th Annual Benefit Gala yesterday, October 24 at Espace, honoring Charles Busch, Julie Halston and Timothy P. Speiss. Beth Leavel, a Tony winner for THE DROWSY CHAPERONE emceed the gala. Carl Andress, who helmed Busch's THE DIVINE SISTER, THE THIRD STORY, DIE MOMMIE DIE! and SHANGHAI MOON, directed. SUPER SHAW 2011, a lively and irreverent evening of George Bernard Shaw, took place yesterday at 7pm at The Players Club (16 Gramercy Park South) in Manhattan. David Staller produced and directed SUPER SHAW 2011, which presented Charles Busch as Eliza Doolittle, Judith Ivey as Saint Joan, Alison Fraser as Cleopatra, and others in scenes from PYGMALION, CANDIDA, MRS. Photo Flash: Original Broadway Cast of THE SECRET GARDEN Reunites

The Broadway community once again opened its arms to the students of John A. Coleman Catholic High School of Hurley, New York. The school, which has gained a reputation for some of the best young musical theater talent in the Hudson River Valley, produced The Secret Garden in honor of the 20th anniversary of the show's Broadway debut in April of 1991. The cast of Coleman Musical Theater's production recently traveled into New York City to meet members of the original Broadway cast. (more...)

Hunter, Curtains will run at the Millburn theater from April 27 through May 22, 2011. Family Week is April 27 through May 1 and during this period, children 18 and under receive half off the regular ticket price (certain restrictions apply). Curtains is generously supported by a gift from Allen and Joan Bildner. Curtains is a co-production with Theatre Under The Stars in Houston, Texas. Press opening is set for Sunday, May 1st at 7:00pm.
