Bergen County Players rang in the holiday season this month with Broadway heavy-hitters Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens's musical adaptation of the timeless Charles Dickens tale 'A Christmas Carol'. See photos from the production.

What did our critic think of THE ISLAND at Ensemble? Native South Euclid resident and Brush High School grad, Dr. Alan Wieder, is on a quest “to stem the tide of forgetfulness.”  The oral historian, who has been on the faculties of both South Africa’s University of Western Cape and Stellenbosch University, is concerned that “few young South Africans know of the contributions or the sensibilities regarding the social justice and the revolution against class disparity and racism in the world.”

This past Sunday, May 18th, the sold out audience at the first NY revival of William Inge's A LOSS OF ROSES included Inge's nephew, James A. Mahan, as well as Mahan's children and grandchildren. They joined the cast onstage afterwards for a full family & company portrait. On behalf of the family, James Mahan's daughter Sandra wrote the following to the production the next day: 'A heartfelt thank you for having us! We so enjoyed the play and meeting the cast. Clearly everyone involved with this production put much heartfelt energy into it. Your theater has such a very warm and inviting feel which we embraced!'

Flat Rock Playhouse presents the 2013 Tony Award winning comedy for best play, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. After premiering Off-Broadway in September 2012, the play was transferred to Broadway in 2013 and has been a hit with audiences everywhere. Vagabonds, Scott Treadway, Paige Posey, and Marcy McGuigan are back together again to help deliver this laugh-out-loud, yet unexpectedly touching play.
