Kentwood Players proudly presents the comedy rock musical "Little Shop of Horrors" with book by Howard Ashman and music and lyrics by Alan Menken, from September 13 through October 19, 2013 for a six-week run on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm with Sunday matinees at 2pm at the Westchester Playhouse, located at 8301 Hindry Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045. The production is directed and choreographed by Michael-Anthony Nozzi with musical direction by Joshua Eli Kranz, and produced by Shari Barrett and Sheridan Cole Crawford by special arrangement with Music Theatre International. The production features original Audrey II puppets designed by Michael-Anthony Nozzi and costumes designed by Maria Cohen and Arlene Cohen.

The hilariously creepy musical is based on the low-budget 1960 cult film. The catchy musical score, composed by Menken in the style of 1960's rock -'n- roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several show-stoppers including 'Skid Row,' 'Somewhere That's Green,' and 'Suddenly Seymour,' as well as the title song "Little Shop of Horrors".

Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Glengarry Glen Ross, a hard-hitting portrait of cut-throat office politics and BCP's first foray into the world of David Mamet. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Glengarry Glen Ross features sharp dialogue, compelling characters and strong social commentary. Under the direction of Alyson Cohn of Wyckoff, Glengarry Glen Ross will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from March 26th through April 16th, 2011 with shows at 8pm on Friday and Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Broadway composer Alan Menken, who has created the music for such shows as Little Shop of Horrors, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Leap of Faith and Sister Act, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the category of Motion Pictures..

The Walnut Street Theatre's 2009-2010 Independence Studio on 3 season concludes with an all-new production of Eric Rockwell and Joanne Bogart's genre-hopping tribute to some of Broadway's greatest: The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!). In a comic satire of musical theatre genres, one story becomes five musicals, each in the distinctive style of a different master of the form, from Rodgers and Hammerstein to Stephen Sondheim. The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) starts on May 4th, opens May 6th and continues through June 27th in the Walnut's Independence Studio on 3.

The party starts on January 29 at The Cleveland Play House with Ain't Misbehavin', a Tony Award-winning celebration of the music of Thomas 'Fats' Waller.

Producer John Breglio and the Apollo Theater Foundation, Inc. will present the premiere engagement at the Apollo Theater, prior to the national tour of the groundbreaking musical. Dreamgirls will introduce Moya Angela as Effie White and feature, as The Dreams, Syesha Mercado as Deena Jones, Adrienne Warren as Lorrell Robinson.
