Rehearsals began this week in Atlanta, GA, for the Alliance Theatre's production of ZORRO, a thrilling new musical. Zorro, 'the fox,' was created in 1919 by the writer Johnston McCulley for his serialized novel 'The Curse of Capistrano,' and went on to be immortalized in print, on film, in television and even video games. As with all Musical Theatre West productions, OKLAHOMA! is locally-produced in Long Beach with professional actors from Broadway, national tours, film and television, including the best in local talent. This year's "Grand Fiesta" highlights Las Vegas-based singer Lani Misalucha's pre-Christmas concert on Wednesday, November 28; and Rodgers and Hammerstein's beloved Broadway musical "The King and I's" extended run until May 2013 - Philippine Musical Theater's favorite leading lady Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo was announced as replacement for Monique Wilson in the role of Anna Leonowens.
