The Random Farms Kids' Theater hosted its annual Spring Sunset Gala at the Ritz Carlton Hotel's Restaurant 42 in White Plains on Friday, April 19. Approximately 75 parents and friends of Random Farms Kids Theater joined producer Anya Wallach, as well as the theater's directors and creative staff for an evening of cocktails, cuisine, a silent auction and fundraising raffle. Rihanna left little to the imagination and yet was still completely covered in her custom made Azzedine Alaia at last night's Grammy Awards. The young singer looked radiant in the gauzy, red gown that was drapped and cut just-so. All eyes were on the red carpet this year after the CBS Standard And Practice issued a 'Wardrobe Advisory' for this year's awards. 'Not all of us have been lucky enough to make a steady income from this profession we love so much. It's nice to know an organization such as the Actors Fund exists to watch our backs, while we concentrate on using our craft to make the world a richer place to live,' added Holbrook just after friend and colleague, Sean Penn, presented the accomplished thespian with the Julie Harris Award. Penn, who directed Holbrook in 'Into The Wild,' said 'Hal always got it in the first take, but you wanted him to do it again, just so you could watch him work.' (more...)
