The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui Photos - Off-Broadway

Multi award-winning Foothill Theatre Arts presents Bertolt Brecht's satirical masterpiece about the rise of a demagogue, The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui, in a stunning new adaption by Pulitzer, Olivier and Tony Award-winning American playwright, Bruce Norris (Clybourne Park) making its Bay Area premiere. Director Bruce McLeod invites audiences into a seedy 1930s Chicago cabaret for this production, presented three weeks only November 8 – 24, 2019 (press opening: Saturday, November 9) at the Lohman Theatre, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills.

Gingold Theatrical Group presents the final presentation of the 13th Season of Project Shaw, a special series of evenings offering some of Shaw's greatest works and those who share his fierce 'art as activism' precepts, presented monthly at Leonard Nimoy Thalia at Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street). Production images are today released for the 50th anniversary production of Arthur Miller's riveting drama The Price at Theatre Royal Bath's Main House where it runs until Saturday 25 August, with opening night for press on Wednesday 15 August. Jonathan Church, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Bath's Summer Season, directs the production starring one of Britain's most celebrated actors, David Suchet, as furniture dealer Gregory Solomon with Olivier Award winning actor Brendan Coyle playing Victor Franz, and television stars Adrian Lukisas Walter Franz and Sara Stewart as Victor's wife, Esther Franz.

They will have their intelligence tested and get trained in scams like The Pig In The Poke, The Round-The Corner, and The Money Swap…but in the end will they be sharp enough to take down an evil genius at his own game? An experience unlike anything ever performed on a stage, The Grift will sweep its audience into a thrilling adventure, turning everyday theatergoers into master con men. And when the show ends?
