Pippin, now playing at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), is directed by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus and features choreography by Tony Award nominee Chet Walker in the style ofBob Fosse and circus creation by Gypsy Snider of the Montreal-based circus company Les 7 doigts de la main (also known as 7 Fingers). Yesterday at 88 Madison Avenue, the cast of Pippin celebrated the show's new partnership with Carlton Hotel with a live performance, nail art painting provided by Caravan Stylist Studio and circus-inspired refreshments provided by the Carlton hotel. The Carlton hotel's new PIPPIN the Musical Package will be available starting January, running through March 2014. The package includes overnight luxury accommodations, tickets to PIPPIN, cocktails at restaurant Millesime and a CD soundtrack from the show.

Actors' Equity Association ('AEA' or Equity) yesterday announced that PIPPIN received the seventh annual 'ACCA' Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. Presented by Equity's Advisory Committee on Chorus Affairs (ACCA), the ACCA Award is the only industry accolade of its kind to honor the distinctive talents and contributions made by the original chorus members of a Broadway musical.

Goodspeed Musicals, the first two time Tony Award-winning theatre in the country, announced today that the wildly popular Hello, Dolly! has been extended and will now play to enthusiastic audiences for 12 additional performances. The legendary Betty Buckley went backstage last night at the Music Box Theatre to visit fellow actress Tovah Feldshuh, who's currently subbing for Andrea Martin as 'Berthe' in the Tony-winning revival of PIPPIN. The popular event is the annual benefit of New York's Ali Forney Center.
