BWW Reviews: CANDY CANE TALES AND HOLIDAY CAROLS Ignite your Holiday Spirit!

Santa Claus will definitely put the cast and crew of Waukesha Civic Theatre's new holiday production CANDY CANE TALES AND HOLIDAY CAROLS on the "Nice" list this year. From the moment the fun filled evening begins, you can't help but be overtaken by the holiday spirit. The production follows the story line of a young girl and her parents as they prepare for the holiday season. As the story moves forward, the inquisitive young girls asks questions about many of the holiday traditions, where they came from, and why we celebrate them. Her parents, aided by the rest of the company, help explain and further illustrate the answers through story, song, and dance. (more...)

This year's Children's Theatre season has been one of the biggest ever, having, for the first time, brought a Disney production to the Way Off Broadway stage with Disney's 101 Dalmatians at the beginning of the year and a regional theatre premiere of Dora the Explorer Live! Hell in a Handbag Productions is proud to remount David Cerda's parody of the classic children's television special 'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer', now in it's 12th year! RUDOLPH THE RED-HOSED REINDEER is currently in performances at Mary's Attic and will continue to run until Saturday, January 2nd. All performances begin at 7:30. There will be no shows on Dec. 24th, 25th, and 31st, but additional shows have been added on Dec. 23rd, 27th, and 30th. (more...)
