A Broadway show to end the notion that every tale is a fairytale, though the title of this article would allude otherwise, Once finds its power in all things realistic rather than in a storybook romance. It takes the age old understanding that when a man and woman find each other everything else will work out and flips it on its head. While Hollywood and its cohorts would love for the public to believe that every story has a clear cut path, Once provides insight into what audience members already know. After all, the great Victorian playwright Oscar Wilde Once penned, 'the truth is rarely pure and never simple.' Once merely reiterates the fact.

The Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical Once, just welcomed Once composer Marketa Irglova and star of the Academy Award-winning film, following the performance last night, October 2nd. BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special event below!

The Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical Once, just celebrated its 1000th performance on Broadway last night, August 13. Following the 8:00pm performance, Once composer Glen Hansard, who flew in from Los Angeles after performing songs from his new album at the Hollywood Bowl, joined the cast on stage at the curtain call and BroadwayWorld brings you photos from the special event below!

The Tony and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical Once, based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, is currently playing on Broadway at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street). The production opened to rave reviews on Sunday, March 18, 2012. ONCE won eight Tony Awards including Best Musical. The production was also named Best Musical by the New York Drama Critics Circle, Drama Desk, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle and Lucille Lortel Awards.Check out photos of the new marquee below!

On Thursday, July 17th, the Tony Award winning musical ONCE celebrated its L.A. Premiere in true Hollywood fashion with a beautiful after party at Bardot Hollywood. This event was sponsored by FOX Searchlight Pictures and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment in celebration of Searchlight's 20th anniversary and the Blu-rayTM release of the 2007 Academy Award winning film. On Friday 6 December 2013 whilst visiting New York, Declan Bennett, who plays Guy in the West End production of Once, dropped in to visit Arthur Darvill and Joanna Christie who play Guy and Girl in the Broadway production. They met on the shows onstage bar at the Bernard B. Jacob's Theatre where they swapped anecdotes about performing on both sides of the Atlantic in this multi-award winning production.
