Evita Photos - US Tour

Production images have been released for Chris Weikel's Pride House, opening tonight and running through February 10 at The Flea Theater in NYC, representing the first production of the 50th Anniversary Season of TOSOS (The Other Side of Silence), NYC's oldest and longest producing LGBTQIA+ theater company. This Spotlight focuses on Elizabeth Adabale, a dedicated musical theatre entertainer who studied public health and theatre at the University of Southern California and taught high school biology with Teach for America, until the stage pulled her elsewhere. I first met her in 2013 when she began to audition for productions in Los Angeles and I knew with her talent and stage presence, Elizabeth was destined to a?oehit it biga?? on stages across the country! I reached out to her to find out how is she dealing with the cancellation of her national tour in 'The Color Purple' after 111 performances.

Earlier this month, Broadway's high-heeled hit, Kinky Boots, which opened on April 4, 2013 and has played more than 1500 performances, surpassed Evita to become the 50th longest-running Broadway show of all time. That's not all the show has to celebrate. Taylor Louderman (Lauren), Killian Donnelly (Charlie)  and Todrick Hall (Lola) have joined the cast in recent weeks and you can check out a first look at the new gang in action below!

The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and Broadway Across America are pleased to present the national tour of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's passionate and elegant masterpiece EVITA. The Tony Award-winning musical will play at the Arsht Center's Ziff Ballet Opera House for a limited engagement from May 27 - June 1, 2014. Direct from sold-out performances in Asia, producer and director Mirwan Suwarso announced today that Hanoman The Musical will make its U.S. premiere at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts for three performances only. Inspired by the epic tale of Ramayana, Hanoman The Musical tells the story of the origin of one of the fiercest warriors in ancient Asian mythology. Hanoman The Musical runs Tuesday, June 25 thru Thursday, June 27, 2013 at San Jose Center for the Performing Arts in downtown San Jose (255 Almaden Boulevard). The 2013 Season is the year that Broadway and Hollywood meet at The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre. For its 19th Anniversary Season, the theatre has a line-up of shows that were hits both on the silver screen and on the Broadway stage.
