Ghostlight Records recently released the Original Broadway Cast Recording of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella, currently available digitally and in stores. The cast celebrated the release with a signing and performance at Barnes & Noble yesterday, and you can check out photos from the festivities below!

Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA celebrated its 100th performance today, May 29th, at the Broadway Theater. Tony Award-winning producer Junkyard Dog Productions (Memphis) has just announced that leading man Zachary Levi, star of TV's 'Chuck,' Disney's feature film Tangled and the upcoming Thor: The Dark World, will make his Broadway debut starring opposite Broadway and television ingenue Krysta Rodriguez ('Smash,' The Addams Family) in First Date, Broadway's new romantic musical comedy. With a book by Austin Winsberg ('Gossip Girl'), music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (Secondhand Lions, Twice Charmed) and musical staging by Josh Rhodes (Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella) First Date is directed by Bill Berry (Producing Director of The 5th Avenue Theatre). Featuring Sara Chase ('Arrested Development,' The Toxic Avenger), Kristoffer Cusick (Wicked, Rent), Blake Hammond (Sister Act, Billy Elliot) and Kate Loprest ('Boardwalk Empire,' Hairspray), the cast of First Date also includes Vicki Noon (Wicked, Mamma Mia!). First Date begins performances Tuesday, July 9, 2013, and opens Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Broadway's Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street). Additional casting to be announced shortly. The celebrated musical Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella--originally written for television in 1957 by the legendary musical theatre duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II--makes its Broadway debut with this new production, featuring music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a new book by four-time Tony nominee Douglas Carter Beane, based on the original book by Oscar Hammerstein II. The new production of RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderella will now open on Broadway on Sunday, February 24, 2013, with previews set to begin January 24. Originally scheduled to preview January 21 and open on February 21, the new preview/opening date results from a production schedule that was delayed as a result of Hurricane Sandy. RODGERS + HAMMERSTEIN'S Cinderellawill perform at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway at 53rd St.). The marquee just went up at the Broadway Theatre and you can check it out below!
