Just in time for the Halloween season, Pioneer Theatre Company presents the diabolical musical thriller Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and book by Hugh Wheelerbased on an adaption by Christopher Bond. The Tony-Award winning musical opens October 26, 2018 and runs through November 10, 2018.

After the critical successes of the first three shows, Avenue Q, Side Show, and Sweeney Todd, the award-winning Slow Burn Theatre Company ends its fourth season with the feel-good show The Wedding Singer. Check out a first look below!

Bay Area Cabaret concluded its 2012-2013 season by honoring the memory and legendary career of composer Marvin Hamlisch on June 2, 2013. Selections from his work (A Chorus Line, The Way We Were, They're Playing Our Song) were performed by special guests, including Broadway stars Lisa Vroman (The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd) and Karen Mason (Mamma Mia!, Sunset Boulevard), Grammy Award winner Billy Stritch, 2012 Bay Area Teen Idol winner Bobby Conte Thornton, Academy Award-winning songwriters Alan and Marilyn Bergman, and more. Another event, another packed house! DO40 presented its fourth annual Legacy Awards at their Holiday Dinner, this year again at the over-the-top LIPS restaurant in NYC. Ka'davaret features some of Broadway's finest performers singing some devilish ditties from musicals with a "darker" theme, including Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, Wicked, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Damn Yankees, Phantom of the Opera and more. Special guests include Tony nominees Robin De Jesus (In the Heights, La Cage aux Folles), Da'Vine Joy Randolph (Ghost), Jen Noble (Ghost), Jennifer Sanchez (Spiderman), Chester Gregory (Sister Act, Cry Baby, Tarzan, Hairspray), and Orville Mendoza (Peter and the Starcatchers), with more to be announced shortly!

Roundabout Theatre Company announced the full cast this July for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award-winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood.
