This Side of Paradise Photos - Off-Broadway

The Fred Ebb Foundation (Mitchell S. Bernard, Trustee) in association with the Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presented the fifteenth annual Fred Ebb Award for aspiring musical theatre songwriters to Angela Sclafani & Benjamin Velez. The award, named in honor of the late award-winning lyricist Fred Ebb, was presented by Kate Baldwin on Monday, December 2nd from 6-8pm at a by-invitation-only ceremony in the Penthouse Lounge of The American Airlines Theater.

Rosemary and Time, the mesmerizing new play written by award-winning playwright Jennifer Fell Hayes, opens next week at the Paradise Factory Main Stage in the East Village. Award-winning playwright and published author Jennifer Fell Hayes, mesmerizing new play, Rosemary and Time is set to run at the Paradise Factory Main Stage February 2 through February 17, 2018. The limited run is directed by long time collaborator, Kathy Gail MacGowan who has worked extensively in Off and Off-Off Broadway theatre.

Just last night, May 12, Tiffany Schleigh presented Cabaret for a Cause, a one-night-only event to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The speial event was held at Galapagos Art Space and was dedicated to Shannon Tavarez (The Lion King) (January 20, 1999-November 1, 2010). History Theatre presents the regional premiere of a new musical about the lives and works of St. Paul's original "it" couple, F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald. As glittering emblems of the Jazz Age, their romance reflected the era during which they lived: highs and lows, boom and bust, a thrilling rise and a devastating crash. This Side of Paradise, which premiered off-Broadway in 2010, is seen from the point of view of Zelda at the age of 39, looking back on her life with Scott using music and dance to capture both the joy of their romance and their struggles for artistic identity and fame.
