Winner of more than 125 international awards, the world's second longest-running musical ever, Les Miserables arrives at Teatro Renault, in Sao Paulo. Based on Victor Hugo's classic novel, the show, in contrast to 19th-century France, tells an enthralling story of dreams, love, passion, sacrifice and redemption - a timeless testimony of the survival of the human spirit.

The new musical Daddy Long Legs will have an open-ended run at the Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street). Starring Megan McGinnis (Broadway's LES MISERABLES, Side Show, Little Women) and Paul Alexander Nolan (Broadway's Once, Jesus Christ Superstar, Doctor Zhivago) and based on the 1912 novel by Jean Webster, Daddy Long Legs features music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon (Sense and Sensibility), book by Tony Award and Olivier Award winner John Caird (LES MISERABLES), and direction by John Caird. Jeremy Showgren might be a popular SCERA director and music director today, but his ties to SCERA and "Les Mis" go back 17 years ago when SCERA got permission to perform the concert version of the epic drama - it was Showgren's very first SCERA show and he played keyboard in the pit orchestra.

The West End production of LES MISERABLES just welcomed some new cast members, including Broadway veteran Sierra Boggess as 'Fantine', as well as 'Over the Rainbow' winner Danielle Hope as 'Eponine.' Additional current cast members include: Geronimo Rauch, Tam Mutu, Cameron Blakely, Linzi Hateley, Samantha Dorsey, Liam Tamne, and Craig Mather. For Fall Movie Preview week, MTV News interviewed Les Miserables film director Tom Hooper about his upcoming big-screen adaptation of the musical, starring Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Anne Hathaway as Fantine and a slew of other big-name stars. In the interview, Hooper described Hathaway's performance of 'I Dreamed A Dream' as 'quite breathtaking.' Alongside the chat with Hooper, MTV also released a new still of the Jackman and Hathaway in the film. Check it out below!

Colm Wilkinson, who originated the role of Jean Valjean in both the original London and Broadway productions of LES MISERABLES, will make a special appearance in the upcoming LES MIS film as the merciful Bishop. A picture was just released of Wilkinson in his Bishop garb opposite Hugh Jackman, Jean Valjean in the film.

JustJared.com has revealed an early look at Amanda Seyfried on the set of the Les Miserables film in London while on a break from shooting. Seyfried, who stars as Cosette in the film, is no stranger to movie musicals, having starred in the film version of Mamma Mia! alongside Meryl Streep. The film is set for a December 7, 2012 release.

There have been some major cast changes in the legendary musical 'LES MISERABLES' at the Queen's Theatre from Thursday 23 June 2011. Caroline Sheen plays ‘Fantine', Alexia Khadime ‘Eponine', Craig Mather ‘Marius', Katy Secombe ‘Madame Thénardier', Liam Tamne ‘Enjolras' and Lisa-Anne Wood ‘Cosette'. They join Alfie Boe as ‘Jean Valjean', Matt Lucas as ‘Thénardier' and Hadley Fraser as ‘Javert'.
