BWW Reviews: Martita Goshen's TURNING HOME Is No False Start
by Annie West - Apr 28, 2013

A step onto the stage, and the winds of our ancestors and the spirits of the racehorse seem to jostle through the skirts and hair of Martita Goshen. Each hand gesture, every head flit conjures up memories of native dances and old forgotten connections between horse and man. This is Martita Goshen's Earthworks' performance of "Turning Home," a tribute to American thoroughbred racehorses. (more...)

Naomi Campbell is giving it on the May cover of Vogue Brazil. The fierce model is styled in a black cross-strap one-piece with cut-outs and sporting bleach blonde hair blowing behind her. If It Only Even Runs A Minute 11 is the eleventh edition of the Bistro Award-winning series of rare songs, behind-the-scenes tales, and inspiring photos from Broadway musicals that may not have been fully appreciated the first time around. BroadwayWorld was there for the concert and you can check out photos below! (more...)

Fashion Photo of the Day 4/22/13 - Kate Hudson
by Rachel Stone - Apr 22, 2013

I actually gasped when I saw this photo I love it that much. Kate Hudson looked like a modern day 1940's Hollywood bombshell at the Tiffany and Co. Blue Book Ball. From the hair, to the dress to the makeup to the accessories - there's not a thing I would change. I am used to seeing Hudson dressed a with a little more edge lately but I am so thrilled with this softer and glam, but still sexy, look. (more...)

BWW Reviews: YEARS TO THE DAY Shares 80 Frenetic Minutes of Conversation Between Two Old Friends
by Shari Barrett - Apr 20, 2013

In Allen Barton's world premiere play YEARS TO THE DAY at the Beverly Hills Playhouse, two 40-something men, who have been friends for decades but only cursorily in touch via social media over the past four years, finally get together for coffee. But their long anticipated "face to face" meeting reaps surprising consequences when truthful and dramatic changes in each of their lives are revealed. (more...)

Fashion Photo of the Day 4/19/13 - Rebecca Hall
by Rachel Stone - Apr 19, 2013

Rebecca Hall, omg! She looked ah-ma-zing in Lanvin at the London premiere of Iron Man 3. You can never go wrong in black and you can never go wrong in Lanvin. And I am totally into jumpsuits right now so this for me is a major win. To be honest, I think it's a shirt and pants, but it looks like a jumpsuit so I am going to go with jumpsuit. (more...)

Fashion Photo of the Day 4/13/13 - Lindsay Lohan
by Rachel Stone - Apr 13, 2013

I can't believe I am going to say this but Lindsay Lohan looked great at the premiere of her new movie Scary Movie 5. I don't usually like her fashion choices and I am not a fan of the unnecessary fillers in her lips and cheeks, or whatever else she's done to her face. I just think they prevent her real beauty from shining through, but to each there own I suppose. (more...)
