by TV News Desk - Apr 25, 2013

On THE MIDDLE's upcoming episode, titled 'The Ditch,' while waiting in line at the power company to pay a late bill and dressed in her lab coat for her new dental assisting job, people mistake Frankie for a doctor and let her cut in front of them so that she can finish her business quickly and get back to saving lives. But when one of those people shows up at Dr. Goodwin's (Jack McBrayer, '30 Rock,' 'Wreck It Ralph') office for a dental checkup, Frankie tries to keep up the charade, which leaves her new employer completely perplexed. Meanwhile, Axl discovers that Sue has a perfect attendance record at school and convinces her to ditch a day to live life on the edge; Dr. Fulton (Dave Foley) tries to find out why Brick is so opposed to going to middle school; and Mike and Axl's fishing trip takes a turn for the worse when a distraction causes Mike to crash the boat he's towing, wedging it into a ditch, on WEDNESDAY, MAY 15 (8:00-8:30 p.m., ET) on ABC. Photo Flash: FLIPZOIDS At Peter Jay Sharp Theater, Show Closes 2/6
by Oliver Oliveros - Jan 30, 2011

'Do you like it in America?' 70-year-old recent immigrant from the Philippines Aying (played by Obie award-winning actress Ching Valdes-Aran) and her new friend and teenage flip Redford (played by former 'Sesame Street' child actor Carlo Albán) had been truthful enough to admit that they didn't seem to like much America. Aying's daughter Vangie (played by young Asian American thespian Tina Chilip) had thought otherwise -- these clashing personal views on family, relationships and cultural assimilation are bluntly thrown at you in Ma-Yi Theater Company's first revival of its critically-acclaimed one act play 'Flipzoids'. Written by Ralph B. Peña and directed and designed by Loy Arcenas, the production runs through Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater of the Playwrights Horizon (416 W 4nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues). Philips Norelco, the expert in 'bodily deforestation,' is partnering with the Arbor Day Foundation in support of the organization's mission to inspire people to plant, nurture and celebrate trees as well as help address the overgrown issue of deforestation in the world. Starting today through June 30, 2010, Philips Norelco will commit to a donation of $75,000 -- planting a minimum of one tree for every Philips Norelco Bodygroom product sold, up to 75,000 trees.
