In 2020, it felt like the world had gone sideways and there was nothing but bullying everywhere you turned; it only seems fitting that many shows in the Valley are now performing shows dealing with the subject.

Directed by award-winning theatre and opera director Jay Scheib, the cast of Bat Out Of Hell - The Musical is led by Andrew Polec as Strat and Christina Bennington as Raven, with Rob Fowler as Falco and Sharon Sexton as Sloane. They are all featured in the photos, alongside Danielle Steers as Zahara and Dom Hartley-Harris as Jagwire, who perform Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad and Dead Ringer. Buffalo born playwrights and authors  often have used their hometown as their setting, from A.R. Gurney to Tom Dudzick to Lauren Belfer. Now we can add Laura Pedersen,  whose FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE opened the 710 Main Theatre season last night.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Machinal, starring Rebecca Hall, written by Sophie Treadwell and directed by Lyndsey Turner, began previews on December 20, 2013 ahead of an official opening on January 16, 2014 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway. Michael Attenborough directs Eduardo De Filippo's Filumena in a new English version by Tanya Ronder running at the Almeida from 15 March - 12 May 2012, with press night on 22 March at 7pm. Designs are by Robert Jones, with lighting by Tim Mitchell and sound by John Leonard. Filumena is sponsored by Pinsent Masons.

Emmy, Golden Globe and Grammy Award-winning star of screen, television and stage, Beau Bridges, returns to Broadway for the first time in 38 years in his first musical as J. B. Biggley, beginning today for 6 months through Sunday, July 1, 2012. Mr. Bridges will co-star with GLEE star Darren Criss through January 22 and then Nick Jonas (January 24, 2012 - July 1, 2012). The new marquee featuring the famous newbies is going up today and BroadwayWorld has just captured the in-progress shots.
