The Broadway Association, the 102-year-old not-for-profit business association that's committed to the betterment, safety and economic prosperity of the Times Square and Midtown West community, hosted its annual awards luncheon Monday afternoon at the InterContinental Times Square Hotel. The Broadway Association presented legendary Broadway Producer Daryl Roth with the Visionary Leader Award and New York City Police Commissioner Ray Kelly with the Lifetime Achievement Award. Each hand gesture, every head flit conjures up memories of native dances and old forgotten connections between horse and man. The most recent show featured a cast reunion of the entire original cast of Maltby & Shire's Starting Here, Starting Now: Loni Ackerman, George Lee Andrews, and Margery Cohen, who shared stories about creating the show and singing numbers that they originated in 1977.
