From the genius who created the smash hit, 'Rent,' comes 'tick, tick...BOOM!,' a vital American musical about a young artist on the verge in New York City. Westport Country Playhouse, Westport, Connecticut, will stage this lesser-known work by Jonathan Larson, June 23 through July 18. Photo Flash: 'Walmartopia' in the Cast Recording Studio

The cast and band of Off-Broadway's Walmartopia recently hit the recording studio to lay down tracks for the show's original cast recording. The recording will be produced by Walmartopia's musical director, August Eriksmoen, and will be released December 1st, just in time for the holidays. (more...)
