Tony Award nominated director Pam MacKinnon (Clybourne Park, Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?) directs actress Mickey Sumner (film Frances Ha, Showtime's 'The Borgias') in the Atlantic Theater Company world premiere of Pulitzer Prize finalist and Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas's new comedy The Lying Lesson, joining previously announced star Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Carol Kane (Wicked, 'Taxi').

The critically-acclaimed 50th anniversary Broadway revival of Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? began performances on Thursday, September 27, 2012 and officially opened on Saturday, October 13, 2012, at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street), is on sale through March 2013. And today backstage before the show, the cast and crew celebrated the birthday of Honey, Carrie Coon. Edward Albee's Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? began rehearsals on September 4, 2012, in Chicago at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company, where this production originally began in December 2010. Previews will begin on September 27, 2012, at the Booth Theatre (222 West 45th Street) on Broadway with an official opening on Saturday, October 13, 2012, exactly 50 years to the day of the play's original Broadway opening on Saturday, October 13, 1962. In honor of its 50th anniversary return to Broadway this fall there was be a special Box Office Opening Celebration at the Booth Theatre. Tickets for all preview performances were available for a special price of $50. The first 25 participants in line when the box office opens received a signed copy of the script by three-time Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee.
