The Heidi Chronicles will begin performances on Monday, February 23, 2015, with an official opening on Thursday, March 19, 2015, at the Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street). Tony Award-winner Pam MacKinnon (Edward Albee's A Delicate Balance, Edward Albee'sWho's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Clybourne Park) will direct. The production will star Golden Globe-winner and six-time Emmy Award-nominee Elisabeth Moss ('Mad Men,' 'Top of the Lake,' Speed-the-Plow), Emmy Award-nominee Jason Biggs ('Orange Is The New Black,' American Pie), Tony Award-nominee Bryce Pinkham (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson), and Tracee Chimo (Lips Together, Teeth Apart, 'Orange Is The New Black,' Bad Jews), with Ali Ahn, Leighton Bryan, Elise Kibler, and Andy Truschinski. Tickets for the 2015 KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY are on sale for the public tomorrow, starting at 11:00am E.S.T. KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY, which will take place Friday, January 9th, 2015 to Thursday, January 15th, 2015, is an annual event when kids ages 6 to 18 can see participating Broadway shows for free when accompanied by a full-paying adult. A KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY ticket includes pre-theatre activities, restaurant discounts, parking discounts, educational programs, and more. JUDITH LIGHT a two-time Tony Award winner, will serve as the National Ambassador for the 19th KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY. This year KIDS' NIGHT ON BROADWAY salutes Point Foundation, the nation's largest scholarship-granting organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) students of merit, an organization where Light remains a longtime board member. As previously reported, the Tony Awards Administration Committee determined that Best Sound Design of a Play and Best Sound Design of a Musical Categories would be eliminated from the established list of competitive categories, beginning with the 2014-2015 season. The Tony Administration Committee may bestow a Special Tony Award to a production when it determines that extraordinary sound design has been achieved.
