On Thursday, October 11, National Theatre Live will broadcast a live performance of The Last of the Haussmans, a new play by Stephen Beresford and directed by Howard Davies. The broadcasts will be shown at cinemas throughout North America with many encore dates available. National Theatre Live's fourth season continues with The Last of the Haussmans, directed by Howard Davies. Steven Beresford's acclaimed new play is a funny, touching and sometimes savage portrait of a family that's losing its grip. The cast includes includes Julie Walters, Rory Kinnear and Helen McCrory. On The Today Show July 12, Broadway's Jenny Powers sang Kathie Lee Gifford and David Friedman's most recent collaboration, 'You Do The Impossible,' on the 'Everyone Has a Story' segment honoring triathlete and cancer survivor Molli Serrano. BWW TV: Marilyn Maye Pays Tribute to Jerry Herman in THE BEST OF TIMES IS NOW at Feinstein's at Loew's Regency

Feinstein's at Loews Regency continues its Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of Grammy Award nominated singer and entertainer Marilyn Maye. Her new show, 'The Best Of Times Is Now!' - which honors the legendary Broadway composer Jerry Herman on this 80th Birthday year - features songs from his shows including Mame, Mack and Mabel, Hello, Dolly! and Milk and Honey. Marilyn starred in Hello, Dolly! many times and recorded a CD of all the songs from the Tony Award winning score. Her recent local appearances have been received with rave reviews and full houses. The show opened November 1 and runs through Saturday, November 12 at the Loews Regency Hotel. Broadway Beat was on hand for opening night and takes you inside the showroom below! (more...)
